If you or someone you live with are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19 you must not enter the William de Ferrers School site.
The Department for Health and Social Care has asked people to stay at home and avoid all but essential contact with others for 14 days from the point of anyone in their household displaying mild symptoms. The symptoms are:
- high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
- new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
- loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
Most people with coronavirus have at least one of these symptoms.
You do not need to call NHS 111 to stay at home.
Please read Public Health England’s stay at home guidance.
If your symptoms worsen during your stay at home period or are no better after 7 days contact NHS 111 online at 111.nhs.uk.
If you have no internet access, you should call NHS 111.
