PiXL Edge Graduates
Categories: Parent's Information
A number of sixth form students have been busy using their time to complete the PiXL Edge qualification at graduate level.
PiXL Edge is a qualification that requires students to complete eight challenges
demonstrating five core character skills: leadership, organisation, resilience, initiative and communication.
The students participated in a wide range of activities including qualifying as a lifeguard, learning a language online, training and working as a peer supporter, coaching children sports' teams, completing the Duke of Edinburgh award, acting as ambassadors for the school at open evenings and running a series of events to raise money for charity.
The students have willingly given the time to support the school and the wider community.
Well done to Kayla Harding, Morgan Loan, William Skelt, Emily Smith and Sujina Suthakaran.
We now have over twenty graduates of the PiXL Edge qualification in the sixth form and we look forward to relaunching the scheme for year 12 students in September.
