D&T staff -proud to support our community
Categories: Parent's Information
We are pleased to update you that, thanks to a very generous donation of materials, our fantastic design and technology team have recently produced a further 500 protective face visors for the NHS and local community.
We have been pleased to support both Southend and Broomfield hospitals, four local care homes, the new Crouch Vale Medical Centre, local pharmacies and the children and young people with disabilities social care team. We have also been able to provide visors for The Village Pharmacy, Govani's and Brickfields chemists.
Thank you to the design and technology staff for their hard work and to Steve Keeble from Saffron Plastics Limited who supplied the plastic for the visors. We would like to thank Focal Plastics Limited for donating plastic materials to enable us to make our first batch of visors during the Easter holidays.
William de Ferrers School is very pleased and proud to have been able to help the NHS and our local community in this way.
You can see any further updates on the school’s Facebook page www.facebook.com/wdfschool
It is really rewarding to be able to help our local community during these unprecedented and difficult times.
