Anti-Bullying Week - Monday 11th to Friday 15th November 2019
This year's anti-bullying week has the theme:
Changes Start With Us
Whether it is verbal, physical, online or in-person, bullying has a significant impact on a child’s life well into adulthood.
By making small, simple changes, we can break this cycle and create a safe environment for everyone. Because together, we can challenge bullying.
Change starts with a conversation
It starts with checking in
It starts with work together
If you need help
If you are unhappy in school or perhaps feel you are being bullied and would like to talk to someone about it, there are several ways you can do this.
Talk to a trusted adult in the school
Go to the library any lunchtime and say that you have an appointment with a peer supporter, and you can talk to one of our trained sixth formers.
Complete the form on the school website:https://www.wdf.school/140/what-to-do-if-you-feel-unhappy-at-school and we will arrange for someone to talk with you discreetly.
Talk to your parents or other adult that you trust.
It is very important that you do tell someone. We don’t want you to feel unhappy or scared.
