Year 10 and 11 GCSE Geography
Categories: Parent's Information
All year 10 and 11 students have been invited to engage in a free online geography course run by the University of Cardiff.
The course can be found at www.futurelearn.com. All students are encouraged to take part in the four week course titled ‘the challenge of global water security’.
Students will be learning alongside university specialists in a range of key areas such as the water cycle, water security and urbanisation. This is a good opportunity for all students to enhance their geography knowledge and skills, as well as providing a good level of challenge for all students. This course will link with GCSE paper 2, covering areas found in ‘the challenge of resource management’ section of the curriculum.
To access the course please visit the future learn website: https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/global-water-security.
