Welcome to the Computer Science Department page.

As a department we aim to provide courses that will help students to develop their ICT and Computing capability and prepare for the world of work amid our continual changing society.  The world is becoming increasingly dominated by technology and todays citizens need to be equipped with the knowledge and skills to enable them to participate in it.

As a subject Computer Science has strong links throughout the curriculum and has a vital role in a modern society, we aim to supports students’ future learning skills and in helping to develop their career pathways.

There is a strong focus on project work throughout the curriculum and students will develop their research, evaluation and feedback skills and prepare them for either of our GCSE option subjects.
