Welcome to the History Department page.
As a GCSE optional subject History has always been a very popular choice at GCSE. The department offers History and Politics at A Level and usually runs several classes across these in the Sixth Form.
The department has also sought to develop the wider experiences of our students by running study trips to external venues such as the British Museum, the Imperial War Museum and historic buildings.
As a department our primary aim is to inspire an interest in History amongst young people. This interest, and the historical skills gained as a result, enables students to achieve great success in the subject.
