Students celebrate GCSE results

Categories: Results

Students have been celebrating after receiving their GCSE examination results following five years of studying at William de Ferrers School and we would like to congratulate them all.

We were delighted to be able to host a socially distanced examination results morning where staff were able to share the excitement of their success.

Our students have overcome a challenging end to their secondary education with their exams cancelled without notice. Every Mid-Essex secondary school adopted a meticulous approach over a ten week period to produce their own Centre Assessed Grades and have worked tirelessly to keep students and parents informed during the continuous stream of government updates and announcements.

Despite all of this, students at William de Ferrers school are still able to celebrate. Whilst we had many notable individual achievements with students achieving multiple grades 8 and 9, schools are still awaiting the final BTEC awards. This means we are currently unable to identify our highest achievers across all level 2 qualifications.

The staff at William de Ferrers school congratulate our students and of course all the students across the county for what they have achieved and wish them every success as they progress onto the next stage of their education, employment or training.
