Actual salary range: £13,920.00 to £15,368.00

32.5 hours per week, 38 working weeks per year  

Start time: 8.00am daily, Monday - Friday

Start date: Monday 16 December 2019

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated attendance officer with excellent people skills to support students and families effectively in increasing and maintaining attendance.  This is a temporary post to cover the maternity leave of our current attendance officer.


You will be responsible for all aspects of attendance including the monitoring, recording and reporting of absence of students across years 7 to 11.  You will be the first point of contact with parents and carers with regards to student absence and liaise with external agencies such as the local authority on matters of student attendance.


As well as collating information about attendance and identifying those whose attendance is causing concern, you will be working with students, families and other agencies to ensure that all students are attending school regularly and are then able to achieve their best.
