Educational Visits & Trips

At William de Ferrers School, educational visits and residential trips are an important part of our students' academic progress and personal development. We carefully plan these opportunities to enrich the curriculum, bring learning to life, and provide rewarding, memorable experiences outside the classroom. 

All of our trips can be found on the school calendar. 

Funding and Voluntary Contributions (not applicable to residential trips)

To make these trips possible, we ask parents and carers for a voluntary contribution to cover essential costs, including transport, insurance, and activities.

• Inclusivity: No student will be excluded from an essential curriculum visit because a voluntary contribution has not been made.

• Viability of Trips: Please be aware that if we do not receive sufficient voluntary contributions to cover the overall cost of the trip, it may unfortunately have to be cancelled.

Financial Support

We want to ensure that all students have equal access to these valuable learning experiences.

If your family is experiencing financial hardship, or if your child is eligible for Pupil Premium (including families in receipt of qualifying benefits such as Universal Credit), support is available. Please contact our finance team (finance@wdf.school) in confidence to discuss this further.
