Good luck to all of the above students in the next round of the competition. Letters with further information will go out next week.

Congratulations also go to Maya Bathgate in year 13 who has been selected to represent Great Britain in the World Roller Games 2019. This event will be taking place in Barcelona in July. The games consist of 11 different roller disciplines including skateboarding, scootering and inline speed skating. Maya will be one of 4000 athletes taking part in the competition from 115 different countries all around the world. Maya's commitment to training meant she finished in 10th place overall in the European championship, which earned her the place in the roller games.

We are extremely proud of Maya for her achievements throughout all of her years at William de Ferrers and wish her good luck in her preparation and for the event itself.
